Is It Safe To Give Ritalin If The Tests Come Back Negative?

My daughter, aged 5, history of infantile myoclonic seizures turned absence seizures and head nodding/blinking seizures. Diagnosed with Autism, ADHD. From birth suffers from vaginal discharge and irritation, failure to thrive, severe behavioral issues, and more. Is scheduled for MRI and prolonged EEG. The question is, providing the tests come back negative, is it safe for her to be medicated with Ritalin?

Thanks for the query.
Tests even if negative does not rule out adhd completly.
Clinical diagnosis is equally important.
So if your doctor suggest you to continue with ritalin go with it and don't worry about side effects they are very rare.
Regards.
