Is It Safe To Give Chihuahua Mix, Baby Aspirin, Metacam For 15 Month Baby After Surgery?

Can I give my 15 month old lab/chihuahua mix (9lbs) 1/2 of an 81mg baby asprin with her metacam(given about 2 hours ago) that she had been prescribed after having surgery 11 days ago? She appears to be in pain after she jumped from her kennel when we were getting her out to go to the bathroom and now can not put any weight on that leg.

Thank for choosing HCM, what kind of surgery, not mentioned here, Never ever take any chance in case of pediatric patient, always take the child to the pediatrician for better opinion, the paediatrician examines their patients and come on exact conclusion, they are the final judge, in this branch, patients are tenders, so parents should be very much conscious, take care of your baby.

you have not mentioned the type of surgury

i advise you to consult your doctor

give medicine in prescribed dose only after doctor's advice

these medicines have certain side effects too

so consult your doctor before giving medicine
