Is It Safe To Give Homeopathy Medicine For Herpetic Whitlow?
My son was just diagnosed with herpatic whitlow and was prescribed acyclovir. My husband and I are very skeptical of any medicines since our son has been dealing with c-diff for the last six months and still has not gotten rid of it. We are frustrated that he now has this herpes virus and we are reading that herpatic whitlow can go away on it's own after time. Currently he has an open wound on his index finger that is 3/4 affected by blisters and 1 large open wound. My question is can we treat this more conservatively with homeopathic remedies before we jump into giving him yet another medication acyclovir (even though we researched that acyclovir does not cause c-diff)?
I have read your query. How long has the Whitlow been there? I would suggest a remedy like Anthracinum, Sulphur, Siliciea or Bryonia in such a case. These medicines have given good results.
Are the symptoms like fever, diarrhea and abdominal pain of Claustidium Difficile infection still present in you son? If yes, it is a matter of concern you may have to take a second opinion about C-Diff treatment. The felon will subside with Homeopathy treatment provided you get the right prescription from an expert.
