Is It Safe To Have Second Abortion And Its Side Effect?


Hello doctor! This is Linda here. I am 24 yrs old now. I had a abortion two months back and now again i am pregnant. The first abortion was naturally induced abortion. I have a good health condition. I do not want the baby now So my concern is it safe to have second abortion after two months of the first abortion. Also if i go ahead with the second abortion would i be able to conceive after few months later.

1.No its not safe to have abortion, in long run you will have difficulty in conceiving.
2.Your health might be good but after abortions some times you will traumatise the uterus when medical termination not happened - like D&C's.
3.I would recommend you to continue if there is any chance even 1%, speak to your partner and family members and see.
4.First thing if you are not interested in pregnancy - you would have had a protected sex inset of this practice.
5.In future suggest to have protected sex until you are completely ready for it. Good luck.
