Is It Safe To Have Sex One Week After An Abortion ?

Hi i had an abortion a week ago exactly and tje doctors.told me that 1 week would be sufficient enough to wait. I had a Mirena iud put in by the doctor right after the surgery was completed. Im just wondering is it safe to have sex now and is my iud working.
