Is It Safe To Proceed With IVF In Spite Of A Small Fibroid In Uterus?

I just had 16 fibroids removed via mini-laparotomy. Surgery went well. Recovery seems good. I had a follow up hysteroscopy yesterday, and was disappointed that they found a small fibroid (or polyp) in the cavity. It measures 2mm x 4mm, and is in the bottom third of my uterus.
I am getting ready to do an IVF cycle (using donor eggs). Because the fibroid is under 1 cm, and because it's in the lower third of my uterus, I'm inclined to NOT have it removed prior to my embryo transfer.
Does that seem ok? The surgery was done with the surgeon not cutting all the way through, so my lining is in tact. I don't want to aggravate things by having them scrape on the inside too.
