Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I just took my first dose of 150mg oral Boniva yesterday. Then I read all of these reviews which have made me very frightened. I am 49 years old with osteopenia due to a pituitary disorder causing extreme high cortisol levels for past 15 years. Pituitary was removed 12/17/2014 and now I am trying to rebuild.
Boniva 150 mg as mentioned is usually consumed for osteoporosis and I would prefer a much milder medicine there can be side effects like diarrhea, stomach pain etc., if you consume it. I would advise you to consume calcium tablets for the same.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Vaishnavi Sankeet, Dentist
