Is It Safe To Take Duphaston During Pregnancy?

I am from Vietnam. I am 28 years old and I am pregnant for 11 weeks and 01 days (from the last 07/01/2015). My doctor told me to take Duphaston 10 mg until 16 weeks (twice a day). Is it safe? and does it hurt my baby if my baby is a girl? I am so worry because I lost my early pregnancy last year. Thank you.
