Hi I can understand your concern for the safety of the prescribed cough medications when taken along with Ramipril for high BP. It is not safe to take Lemsip Cough Max along with Ramipril. One of the important ingredients of Lemsip Cough Max is Phenylephrine hydrochloride which causes the constriction (shrinkage) of the blood vessels thus increasing the BP. Since you have been taking Ramipril for your high BP, so if you take Phenylephrine BP may not be well controlled thus a dangerous increase in BP can occur.
