Is It Safe To Take Lisinopril And Amlodipine At The Same Time?
I was taking 10mg of lisinopril for about 6months.I just was switched by the advice of my doctor to start taking amlodipine which was suggested as the better between the two starting at 5mg for five days and then switching to 10mg after that.I had already taken the lisinopril and she stated that I could take the 5mg of amlodipine with it and it would not matter. My question is I just had gotten a refill of the lisinopril and would it be alright to take them both together until the lisinopril is gone or should I just forget it and take the amlodipine by itself?

Is It Safe To Take Lisinopril And Amlodipine At The Same Time?
Hello, You can finish Lisinopril and then start Amlodipine. Do not take both in full dose simultaneously. Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Deepak Sundriyal, Oncologist
