I will try my best to answer your question and guide you through the problem. I would recommend not to go for self treatment especially with antibiotics like Ofloxacin. It is advisable to do a urine routine and microscopy from a lab and if this suggests infection then start norfloxacin. Taking ofloxacin without a documentation of UTI is irrational and harmful. this can lead to development of resistance. Besides your symptom of pain can be from some other cause and Ofloxacin may not help. Ofloxacin does not have any effect on the periods. It can be taken if medically indicated.
