Is It Safe To Take Omega 3 While On Xarelto?
is it safe to take omega 3 supplement if one is on daily intake of blood thinners like xarelto like I am for two suffered episodes of pulmonary embolism,i would like to know if I may take omega 3 for its benfits to possibly reduce swelling and discomfort due to chronic pain as I do with neck and back pain I have cervical stenosis

If I were your prescribing doctor I will NOT advise you taking omega 3 supplements with any drug which is a blood thinner, because omega 3 supplements may Rarely increase the risk of bleeding when given in presence of such drugs like Xarelto. since you have already suffered from 2 episodes of pulmonary embolism, I am assuming that you must be taking a good dose of Xarelto to prevent its recurrence, so please Avoid taking omega 3 at all.
