General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi!
Welcome!
It is not safe to to take alcohol after having Benadryl and Advil.

The side effects of Benadryl and Advil include drowsiness, dizziness, lack of concentration, dry mouth, etc. These side effects can be dangerous if you are involved in high skilled machinery works, or if you are driving a car, or swimming. These side effects are enhanced if you take alcohol along with these medications. Since alcohol also causes depression of nervous system resulting in sleepiness, lack of concentration, in co ordination, etc.
Given together the chances of depression will be more.
So, it is advised to refrain from Alcohol while taking these medications.
It may take 2-3 days to get rid of the effects of those medications.
Joint the party with your friends, there is no harm in it, but do not consume the alcohol containing beverages.
Have a good time......

I hope your queries have been explained.
