Is It Safe To Take Dispersible Aspirin During Pregnancy?
I suffered a stillbirth last year due to blood clots in my placenta. I'm now pregnant again and my doc has prescribed dispersible aspirin to prevent it happening again but it says in the enclosed leaflet do not take when pregnant. Should I stop taking them or is it safe as they're prescribed for a pregnancy problem?
The warning is for those pregnant women who intend on taking aspirin as a pain management medication, but for you it is going to be therapeutic and will help to prevent clots from forming in your placenta so do not think twice before taking it.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes.
