Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Ecosprin contains low dose aspirin.
It is perfectly safe to take low dose aspiring during pregnancy.
It is a blood thinner, so it is vital for you.
ANy kind of clotting can be lethal for you and the baby.
Pregnancy itself is a thrombogenic state, and increases the tendency of the vessels to start clotting.
Hence, aspirin is a must for you to avoid complications .
Also, many women are routinely prescribed aspirin during pregnancy.
It thins the blood vessels and hence increases the blood flow to the baby from the placenta.
It increases perfusion and blood supply to the fetus.
The tablet maybe continued as long as your physician advises, it should be stopped 4 weeks before planned delivery in your case.
Please take the Ecosprin tablets regularly.
Clots in the placental vessels might even cause fetal loss.
All the best.
Take care.
