I'm 15 week pregnant and since 5 week I'm taking human chorionic gonadotrophin infection IP5000 IU bt now I m changed My dr and now She has proscribed gestofit Sr 200mg .instead of that injection.. Wht should I start taking.... Injection or this table ???
I am Dr Nilajkumar a consultant gynecologist and I will be helping you in your queries.
You have been prescribed the correct treatment. HCG is used in early pregnancy. After 10-12 weeks the work of HCG is taken over by another hormone: progesterone, so it is wise to stop HCG and take gestofit as it is similar to progesterone.
So go ahead and take gestofit.
I hope that this satisfied your query. Have a happy pregnancy.
Thanks for using HCM. Have a good day. Dr Nilajkumar Bagde Consultant Obstetrics and Gynecology
