Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

You doctor has given you right suggestions.
All three are the choices of treatment for hyperthyroidism depending upon patient.Generally treatment is started with methimazole and if patient is not having any complications then it can be continued for years.
Surgery is advised in cases not responding to medicines.
Hope i have answered your query.

Take Care
