Is It Safe To Travel By Flight While Having Pleurisy?

Hello,

I was diagnosed as having pleurisy which a chest xray confirmed. I was given antibiotics which I have finished and painkillers. I am due to fly on Friday and wondered if this was safe? I still have some chest and back pain, particularly upon coughing which is not so bad with the painkillers,

Thank you,

Caroline Leslie

Yes..
It is safe for you to travel by flight with a pleurisy until and unless it is not making you symptomatic i.e. Excessive coughing or breathlessness..
