Is It Safe To Travel Having Diagnosed With Partial Placenta Pervia?
I am in my 20th week. I have been diagnosed with partial placenta previa. I am planning to go on a vacation. It would include a 1.5 hr flight travel and some walking. Just wanted to know if it is safe to travel in this health condition. I dont have any bleeding or any other symptom. Thanks.
Hello, Thanks for sharing your health concern with us. In the current scenario, I would ask you not to stress. Though a partial placenta praevia at this stage of the pregnancy usually moves into the upper part of the uterine body as the pregnancy advances, it is nevertheless preferable to take as much rest as possible and avoid all forms of exertion including travel, lifting weights and sexual intercourse. If however, your travel is inevitable, take the suggestion from your consultant and follow instructions. Wish you safe motherhood.
