Is It Safe To Use Pause 500 For Erratic Menstruation In 11 Year Old?

my daughter is 10 years and 9 months and she has strated menstruating 2 months back. however her menstruation cycle is erratic and happens almost every 10 days or so. we met up a doctor who suggested pause 500 . we are not sure if we should use external medicines at this stage since the child is not even 11 years. Please advise if it is safe to use the Pause 500 or should we let nature take its own course.

Hi thanks for posting,

Pause 500 is a safe drug. It will help minimise blood loss. Any person irrespective of age should not lose excessive blood which will lead to anaemia and its complications. Also I would suggest that you meet her doctor again to get her periods regularised. Too frequent periods will cause excessive blood loss. Hence it has to be corrected. Maybe delayed periods with not too much bleeding can be left to nature but not too frequent or heavy periods.
Best wishes.
