Is It Serious If GERD Causes Vomiting, Pain In Neck, Tenderness To Touch, And Painful Swallowing?

I have gerd and a couple days ago I ate a greasy dinner after words it caused me to vomit. Now I have some pain in the center of my neck to the right side of my adams apple. It is tender to touch and mildly painful when swallowing. Is this something that could be serious?

This is nothing to worry, the vomiting contains the acid while throwing up this acid damages the oesophagus inner wall causing erosive effects and that hurts, but this will go away soon, take care and have nice day.

Thanks for query on HCM.
All symptoms are due to indigestion after greasy diet.
Pain in throat and neck is due to recurrent vomiting (gastro esophageal re flux).
Pain in abdomen is also due to disturbed digestion pattern after oily food.
Eat more simple,liquid,high fiber diet.
Start rabeprazole or pantoprazole with domperidone to subside vomiting and acidity.
Antacid gel and lactic acid bacillus will be helpful.
Drink more water and other liquids like coconut water,lemon water,buttermilk.
Consult your doctor for further guidance and medications.
