Is It To Be Concerned About The Plus Cells In The Urinalysis?
Please read my Urinalysis Result:
MACROSCOPIC RESULT MICROSCOPIC RESULT Color yellow Plus Cells (hpf) 8-10 Character Hazy RBC (hpf) 0-1 pH 6.5 pithelial Cells occassional Specific Gravity 1.020 Amorphous Urates occassional Albumin trace Mucus Threads few Sugar trace Bacteria rare
You are suffering from urinary tract infection(UTI). UTI is indicated by hazy colour of urine and presence of excess pus cells,occasional RBC,few bacteria etc in urine.RBC in urine may be due to UTI. You need few more investigations like routine hemogram,Renal function test,Urine culture and sensitivity and Ultrasound of abdomen. Further investigations can be done if needed.. At present you need proper antibiotics after culture and sensitivity report. You also need clinical correlation.you should drink plenty of water.
