Is Itchy, Burning Vagina With Sharp Pain In Clitoris Before Periods A Cause For Concern?
Had my normal monthly period and then a week later took the morning after pill as the condom came off inside me. Got a period a week after that (so two weeks from my original period). Now a 5 days late for my second period and feeling pain and discomfort in my vaginal area. Itching, burning, bleeding and sharp pains in the clitoris region. What is going on?? Is this due to the hormonal imbalance? Or should I be worried?
Your findings may suggest fungal infection. You need clinical evaluation. Most likely it is not related to hormonal imbalance. You may need clotrimazole tablet 100 mg for vaginal use.One tablet to be inserted deep in the vagina at night during sleep time for five consecutive nights. You may also need perineal wash.It will correct local pH in vagina.
