hello.. lichen planus does not go on its own ...you will be compleltely cured wit the help of homeoapthic medicine..consult a homeopath..
as fot the diet do not take much of tangy things..

Lichen planus can limit itself, and can recur, as it is an autoimmune disease. Please see a dermatologist. There is no way that you can prevent it from recurring to the best of my knowledge. Trauma can exacerbate it only when the disease is active.

You are absolutely correct that lichen planus is a self limiting disorder...but that happens in few cases only.There are good medicines which can take care of it completely.As far as precautions are concerned you should see that you should not scratch your skin too hard or else that would lead to a black lesion there.So you should avoid trauma of any kind.Food has no relation to LP.
