General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As there is fever with vaginal discharge, there can be vaginal infection most likely and the issue must be addressed to your treating OBGY for best treatment and prevent any complication or possible threat to your pregnancy.

Usually, the other causes of placental separation or early bleed do not show up with a fever and hence it is less likely.

However, if your OBGY needs he or she may need to get an ultrasound of the pelvis for the best possible evaluation of the fetus and placenta status.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
