Is Liposuction Advisable For Fat In Abdomen?

Hi Doctor, I would like to go for liposuction surgery for my abdomen. I am married for 5 years, but do not have a child yet. But I have huge amount of fat in my lower and upper abdomen. I had irregular menstruation before, due to this I had fat secretion in my abdomen. Is liposuction surgery a right decision for me ?

It depends on the reason you want to get liposuction. It won't change the irregular menstruation and apparent infertility, if that is what you hope for. If you're looking for a cosmetic procedure, it might help make your stomach seem a little smaller, but I don't think the risks and pain of the surgery are worth the small improvement you might have. Of course, that is up to you. If your main concern is about the infertility, I'd get that evaluated thoroughly first, before considering liposuction. Hope this answers your question.
