Is Loss Of Virginity Associated With Pain In Abdomen And Vaginal Bleeding?
Hi, I m 22 year old..I lost my virginity one year ago, bt at my First time I don t bleed neither I feel pain. I feel vary bad, why this happens to me, I never lost my hymen Becaouse of any accident and I never did anything that can broke my hymen... Bt I don t know why I dnt bleed or feel pain at my First time???
Hello and welcome to HCM, Absence of bleeding or pain during intercourse for the first time suggests that the hymen is intact and has not ruptured or has already been ruptured before. Since, there is no prior history of previous rupture, it is possible that the hymen has not ruptured. Loose or lax hymen may not rupture easily and may take longer time to rupture. Even tight or taut hymen may not rupture easily and may require repeated mechanical trauma or multiple sexual activities before it ruptures. Thus, there is no need to worry.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
