Is Low BP A Cause Of Concern And Does It Cause Tiredness?
Hi, I'm a 29 years old female. For the third time someone meassured my blood pressure and it was really low - 96/52. I am very often tired and I hardly ever wake up rested - could it be linked with the low blood pressure? Is low blood pressure something I should worry about?
low Blood pressure could be of concern if you have dizziness or feeling like you will pass out.
if you are tired and feels like you have lack of energy it is important that you see a local doctor for further testing including cortisol level to r/o adrenal insufficiency and kidney function test to make sure you are not dehydrated
If you are taking any medications then they should also be reviewed to look into the possibility of drug interactions. if all the blood work is normal then considering heart ultrasound ( ECHO) could be obtained.
thank you
