Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The prognosis of lung cancer will depend on the stage and grades of the tumor. In advanced cases where the tumor has already spread out side the lung, complete cure is not possible and we would go for palliative treatment and supportive measures. Consult your pulmonologist and he will direct you accordingly.

Wishing you good health.

Thanks.
