Is Medication Necessary To Bring Down Cholesterol Level?

I have done a Lipid Profile tests which shows Colesterol at 255 mg/dL
Triglycerides 505 mg/dL
HDL Cholesterol 38 mg/dL
LDL Cholesterol 180 mg/dL
Non HDL Cholesterol 217 ; I have started exercise , reduced smoking AND should quit it any time, reducing all fatty food and alcohol intake. BUT do I need to take medicine to get it down.

I have gone through your query.Your triglycerides level is very high LDL level is also high and HDL is low.It is Dyslipidemia.You need drug therapy diet and execise.For such cases i recommend fenofibrate and atorvastatin combination start with low dose.Hope this may help you.
