Is Mefenamic Acid & Crocin Is Effective For Fever?

hi, my child (5.3 yrs) is having 103.1 fever. I d given him mefenamic acid suspension (meftal-p) 5ml. but after one hour passed no improvement is there. Being not sure about mefenamic acid suspension I d given him crocin suspension 10 ml after 1 hour and thirty minutes approx.pl. instruct.
