Is Meftal P Suggested Medication For Fever?
hi..my kid is 10 months old and he is having fever from last 2days. from last 2days we are using CROCIN suspension...5ml for every 6hours..but the body temperature ranging from 99 to 101.6... so would like to go for MEFTAL-P suspension..is it suggestable? ia yes what is the dosage..? my kid is of weight 10kg...

Meftal-P is good medicine for fever. It cab be used to diagnose 10 month child. For a child weighing 10 kg, dose is 2.5 ml.
Meftal-P is stronger than crocin/has more side effects than crocin/works well when given after crocin. Meftal-P is not to be used as first line medicine.
