Is Mild Case Of Shingles Contagious?
I just found out today that I have shingles. I noticed the rash last Friday. I am visiting my grandchildren on Friday. Am I safe or am I contagious? Also, I did have the shot this summer. The doctor felt that it was a mild case. I do not want to pay so I will speak to my doctor tomorrow.

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the viral infection then it may contagious (Clinical observation is the final judge ) and if it is just allergic reaction then it is nothing to worry, if the immune system is strong enough to fight against the shingles then it is nothing to worry, hope this information helps, take care.
