Is Mild Chest Pain With Recurring Numbness In The Hands A Concern?
Hi, off and on I have a mild pain in my chest on the left side and it goes down my side under my arm. A few times a week I ll have a numbness tingling in my left hand. Nothing hurts very bad but it does concern me. Should I get this checked out? I m 55, slightly over weight and I do have high blood pressure that I take meds for. Thank you
After going through your query I understand your concern.
I would like to tell you that being a patient of high blood pressure possibilities of underlying heart disease is there . You require a cardiac check up done for evaluation of heart disease.
It's advisable for you to get an ECG, Echocardiography and a Treadmill test and see a cardiologist with reports for further management.
Hope this will help.
Kind Regards Dr Navneet Mahajan
