hi, My baby is six months old. Now is 9.4 kg. He is healthy and very active. But his stool test shows that it is acidic, pus cells 8-10 hpf and RBCs 1-2 hpf and mucus is present. Stool culture report shows growth of normal commensals only. Salmonella spp. /Shigella spp. /Vibrio cholerae not isolated. Should I be worried?
Hallo . Thank you for asking this question . Stool culture is normal , baby is active and hydration is normal then chances of infection are less . Give her more liquid to maintain hydration . Hope I have answered your query . For further questions please contact .
