Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I gave blood this weekend my blood pressure was 98/67 and my total cholesterol was 149. My pulse was 82 and my hemoglobin was 14.0. I am 46 years old. I am wondering if these numbers sound alright. I give blood often. I was dizzy for the entire day after giving and this has never happened before. However other than that I feel great.
HI Thank for asking to HCM I really appreciate your concern I would like to mention here that after donating the blood this is very common phenomenon being seen that donor feels weak dizzy that is not because the blood being donated but because of the developing of transient vasovagal shock after seeing owns blood, and this is nothing to worry, your all the readings are okay, stop worrying, have a nice day.
