Is Not Rapidly Growing Belly At 18th Week Of Pregnancy With Recommended TIFFA Indication Of Any Problem?

Hai! My name is SAM iam carring 18week of pregnancy. But sill iam unable to find that my belly is growing, my seniours are telling me that it will take time but some of them are questioning me that why my belly is not growing and on my last check up during 16 week doctors consulted me to have a TIFFA on 20th week. is there is any problem? Iam worried please tell me the reason.

Hi.At 18 weeks of pregnancy, your belly should show up 1 inch below your navel.
You may not look like pregnant , if you have a good muscle tone and tall. It may happen in 7th month or so, but all the more important is that there should be no growth retardation of baby, which your gynecologist must be keeping an eye by measuring fundal height at every visit.
TIFFA Scan is an anomaly scan, when at 20th week, all your baby's organs have developed and the sonologist will see each and every organ present and functionig normally.
So, have faith in your dr.and don't worry.
