Is Numbness In Upper Abdomen And Rib Area Associated With Back Injury?

What could be the reason for the upper abdomen and around the rib area to become numb. Recently they experienced a back injury which has been affecting him for four days now and now starting to notice the numbness. Not sure if the back injury could be nerve related.

I really appreciate your concern, because of the poor posture during sleep such numbness is likely but comes around soon, little physical exercise can be much helpful and this is nothing to worry, hope this information helps take care and have a nice day.
