Ive been on nuvaring for 4 months. I just took it out because I was getting extreme dehydration. I would become weak and dizzy on and off for about a month now. I went to the doctor 3 weeks ago, she said I had food poisening which led to dehydration, but I haven't got better. Could the nuvaring be to blame? How long will it be in my system until its fully out?
NuvaRing has side effects like vaginal infections and irritation, vaginal discharge, headache, nausea, vomiting, bloating, stomach cramps, changes in weight or appetite etc common. Also rarely diarrhea, constipation, dizziness, confusion can occur. Dehydration in your case might not be due to its usage & could be the effect of food poisoning. I advice you to take plenty of fluids, fruits etc.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
