Is Occasional Irritability Normal In An 86 Year Old Person?
hello? I have an 85 year old uncle & he will be 86 years old on the 26th of this month. sometimes he will forget things. he can walk around with a walker. sometimes he thinks he s a bother & we all take care of him. he sleeps alot though. he takes bloodpressure pills for his bloodpressure. he also takes a heart pill too. he takes a mens 50 plus vitiam. he likes to sit in a recliner & watch tv. he will watch half a program & fall a sleep. he takes his medication at different times of the day. could it be the medication that makes him tired or the old age or both. he loves to be around all of us. sometimes he gets angry & yells at us but he says he doesn t mean to. is that normal?

Is Occasional Irritability Normal In An 86 Year Old Person?
It s normal to many persons at this age. Man feels alone and helpless due to retarded capacities and capabilities of body. He or she becomes peevish. It s more an age related psychology. Its better if you win his confidence and encourage him to start Deep Breathing exercises only. Also walks in fresh air. Once he is in to it, his behaviour will change dramatically. Hope it helps.
