Is Only Hepatitis B Test Sufficient To Diagnose For Hepatitis C?
Hi, for an athlete s blood testing, I am required to get a test for Hepatitis A, B, and C. The doctor told me that if I don t have Hep B, I also won t have Hep C. If I don t have Hep B, then I shouldn t need to spend the money on a Hep C test. Is that correct?

Dear sir/madam, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C infection are caused by two different viruses. If u are negative for hepatitis B , that doesnt mean that you are negative for Hepatitis C. Its better to get tset done for Hepatitis C also if you are concerned .
