Is Oxycodone And Methadone Right Combination For Pain Management?

Hello, I have been in pain management several years. After trying different treatment, I found oxycodone (immed. release) and methadone (the long acting), has been working fairly. With everything going on, it s been difficult to get the short acting. My pharmacist recommended I ask DR for opana. Will that combo work as well? v

oxycodone is clearly useful for acute pain.
Combination products formulated with NSAIDs and paracetamol (acetaminophen) also available as immediate release formulation.
Methadone is approved for different indications in different countries. Common is approval as an analgesic and approval for the treatment of opioid dependence.
You have to consult your treating doctor before starting any medicines.
Use of above two drugs require regular follow up with your treating doctor.
These drugs has also a side effect like dependency.
So better go for other drugs under guidance of your doctor.
