Is Pain In Lower Back, Left Hip And Lower Leg Suggestive Of Strained Muscle?

I ve been having pain in my lower back and especially in theleft hip and it runs down the front of my leg. This has been going on since the 22nd of September. I ve tried exercising it. I ve use a ten unit on it for about 3 days now. I ve also taken Aleve for it and tried soaking it.This has help some but not completely. Do u think that this could be more than a strain muscle

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Your symptoms seem to be related to a strained muscle. I recommend using anti-inflammatory medication for the pain such as Ibuprofen 400 mg three tablets a day. I also recommend to use a anti-inflammatory cream for local application such as Voltaren gel.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
