Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My GP has put me on Gabapentin as I have pain in my legs, arma and back. A very graduated dosage. 1 per day for 3 days increasing to 9 after 27days. I am on day 4 and the pain is still very bad. Am I able to take paracetamol, as I did before, to help stem the pail?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for writing to us. I have gone through your query with diligence. There is no known drug interactions of PARCETAMOL with GABAPENTIN. So you can take if pain is more. But avoid taking paracetamol in excess or for long term as it can cause liver damage. Physiotherapy like TENS , ultrasound therapy and muscle strengthening exercises will be helpful to achieve permanent relief from pain and help to avoid medications. you can consult a physiotherapist according to your treating doctors recommendation for this.
Hope this may help you. let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
