Is Pelvic Pain Normal During The First Pregnancy?

I am 39 y.o., first pregnancy, 32 wks. Been having a lot of pelvic/pubic pain; also urine dipstick is positive for bilirubin and trace prootein/blood. Last week completed 5 day course of Bactrim. The culture for urine did not show any isolates. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The mild pelvic pain is a normal finding due to the stretching of the broad ligament due to the pregnancy. This pain will gradually decrease as the pregnancy progresses.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
