There are many causes for normal
vaginal discharge which helps to clean and protect the vagina. Watery clear discharge is normal and can range from being minimal to copious from person to person.
Excessive thin watery to mucus like stringy discharge which is difficult to wash off, occurs in mid cycle at the time of ovulation, which may give a wet uncomfortable feeling. This is a fertile time (and the best time for intercourse if you are trying to become pregnant). If you are not expecting to be pregnant and you are 2 weeks before the 1st day of your period, this mid cycle ovulatory discharge is the most likely cause in your case.
However if you are just before your period, are expecting to be pregnant excessive watery discharge can occur after fertilization as the body prepares for
pregnancy. If you miss your period, do take a pregnancy test!
To ease your discomfort , you could use baby wipes, to wipe off only the outside (do not insert into the vagina), use a thin pad, and change your panties often.
The bladder does not cause vaginal discharge- it has a separate opening called the
urethra for urine to be passed out.
I hope this answer helps you.
Thank you.
