Is Placenta Previa In The Left Posterior Grade Harmful?
Hello Im Rai from the Philippines and currently pregnant for 35 weeks and 5 days or 36 weeks (depends) My last LMP is October 26 2015 and this is my second Baby. With my first i had an emergency C-section and now on my second Planned C-section. I have been diagnosed with placenta previa totalis left posterior GRade 2 (33 weeks scan) and i wonder if its high risk or not.. My oby scheduled me for Csection nect week which is my 37th week and luckily i don t have any bleeding episodes until now and hoping not to have one till 37th week My Last Csection by the way was 10 years ago already( without any complications and problems with me and the baby) and now i am just curious and worried of this is life threatening because i am really anxious with my upcoming surgery. Hope you can enlighten me with this and what kind of Csection they do with this kind of condition.
Placenta previa can complicate as pre partum or intra partum Heamorrhage. It is good that you don't have any symptoms or bleeding. No need to worry at present. Get elective cesarean section at 37 week irrespective of labor pain and induction done.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
