Is Pneumonia Causing High Fever, Vomiting And Dizziness?

My daughter is 12 years old. 10 days ago she started vomiting and running a high fever 103. I took her to dr. last Thurs. and they said it was viral. She is complaining of neck pain, and head ache, and dizzy. took her to the er Sat. night and they did an xray to find slight pnemonia and gave her augmentin. her fever came back up yesterday and is throwing up again. Please help!!

Thanks for your query.
This looks to be viral fever which has been complicated by pneumonia.
The treatment looks adequate to start with. If the fever came back again, repeat the X-ray chest, go for review blood, urine and other relevant tests according to the clinical picture.
She may need an additional antibiotics and anti-pyretics.
If she is having cough, you may please send the material for gram staining , culture and sensitivity. This will help in future.
She needs a strict bed rest. Plenty of oral fluids to maintain hydration.
