Is Pregnancy Possible While On Contraceptive Pills?

Hi, I am on the logynon 21 day contraceptive pill. I haven t been taking it correctly and sometimes needed to take up to 3 pills in 1 day. I haven t taken my pill since Friday so I went to take Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday pills on Tuesday (basically yesterday as now it is past 12:00am which means it s Wednesday) but realised I only had 3 pills left so I just took them all, which means I was meant to finish my pill on Monday. Does that mean my week break started on Tuesday or Wednesday? Also I haven t started bleeding yet, is it possible I could be pregnant? I have a boyfriend and we have sex a good bit. Thanks, Claire.

Hi I think you are not taking the pills correctly. You need to take it daily at the same time. You can wait for the periods as you have finished the pack. If periods don't come in one week, do a urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy first. If negative, wait for the periods and restart a new pack from day 1 or 2 of your periods. Take one pill daily at the same time. Hope it helps.
