Is Pregnancy Possible While Suffering From Irregular Periods?

hi, my name is Nancy, i have irregular periods and sometimes i can go for like 8months without my periods. My my gyna once recommend me the HSG procedure to check for blockage in my ovaries and the tests came negative.i have been married for more than a year now and i deperatly want a child please advice me on what to do.

Hello,

You have marked irregular menstruation problem.

It should not be neglected. You need full work up in form of Hormonal estimation like AMH estimation, serum prolactin estimation, serum FSH, LH estimation, serum DHEA estimation for primary workup.

It's advisable to check hypothyroidism by serum TSH estimation. You can revert back with reports once done.
